Unfortunate Events I'm not sure about, since I don't remember exactly, but I'm sure it has something to do with either there being less events, or events have a larger chance of being 'bad' events than 'good' events. Replay the Spire is a hefty content mod with additions that range from new items, cards, and rooms to new bosses and enemies. To that end, plenty of my runs do end in the first or second act, because you don't become a god without taking risks. Poor bosses means that bosses drop less (or none at all, I forgot which exactly) money.
